As I was surfing the web for ideas on my next post, I realized that some Pokémon still don't have evolutions. Generation 7 seems to brim with new hope - including new evolutions for Pokémon that have not evolved since their release. Please note that I am not including Pokémon with pre-evolutions, or mentioning mega evolutions. This is just a simple level-up that several Pokémon sorely need. I also will not go in any particular order since the need is about equal for all Pokémon that I will list. So, let's get started on my Top 10 Pokémon Who Should Finally Evolve in Pokémon Sun and Moon!
1. Farfetch'd
Okay, aside from any obvious puns, it is obvious that this little guy needs something. He's been around since Generation 1 and still is just a little bird holding a leek. I think an evolution that is bigger and stronger looking would work well here. Perhaps something like this design by jesgrad07 that I found on tumbler would perfectly encompass what I think Farfetch'd can become. I know it says a mega-evolution idea, but it could also work for a regular evolution too.
2. Dunsparce
Another forgotten mon, this little guy is from Gen 2. This design screams for an evolution. I mean, come on, just look at it. The potential is huge! My favorite design for an evolution is Dunseraph, the fakemon evolution from Pokémon Uranium (a fan game that is not yet complete but still awesome). It gives Dunsparce the 'oomph' that it has always needed along with a change in typing to Dragon/Flying from Normal.
3. Delibird
I know, why bother? This second Generation Ice/Flying type bird can only learn the move Present through level up. However, it does get access to great moves through TMs and breeding plus the HM Fly. Surely this little bird of giving can be given something in return after all these years. An evolution would be the perfect present. Desibird, a design by mrgallo94 on Deviantart adds bulk while keeping with Delibird's Christmas theme.
4. Every Pikachu Clone
Pachirisu, Plusle, Minun, Emolga, Dedenne - all of these are the signature Pikachu clones from previous generations. They are so cute and their Electric typing gives them access to some great Electric-type moves. Why not up the ante on these guys? There are so many designs on Google that I couldn't select a favorite. If Pikachu can evolve, so can all of its clones.
5. Tropius
Ah, the fruit pokemon... this Pokémon from Generation 3 has plenty of potential for an evolution and where better than the tropical Alola Region? Tropius has always had bulk, but its design has always been a bit lacking. This design by lucas-costa at Deviantart is my favorite thus far. I like the bigger, majestic leaves on its back. Tropius could evolve into something awesome - I hope.
6. Luvdisc
Can't the Pokémon of love gets some love? It's a heart...and nothing much else. Don't get me wrong, I love Luvdisc...I used it when I played Theta Emerald (a hack) and loved it (the Pokémon and the game). I liked Amorisc by ferrari94 at Deviantart. I like how it looks like there is an arrow through the heart. This design says it all and it says 'share the love, man'!
7. Chatot
A sweet little music parrot - with serious attitude. That's what Chatot is and it so deserves an evolution. Maestrot, another design by ferrari94, seems perfect. Chatot goes from musician to maestro. An evolution like this to Chatot would be music to my ears.
8. Maractus
This Pokémon is often over-looked and I think an evolution would fix that. Do you remember in Digimon when the giant cactus Togemon evolved into the beautiful Lillymon? Maractus needs something like that. Sort of like a Roserade evolution, maybe. I couldn't find a design online that I liked so I'll just have to use my imagination for now.
9. Carbink
No, Diancie is a legendary that is supposed to be an evolution of Carbink. I mean a real evolution, something every player can acquire in game with relative ease. It can be stone evolution or simply level-up evolution. The point is, it needs to be done. Again, I couldn't find a design that I liked on Google but that's okay.
10. Combee
When I say Combee, I mean the male Combee. Only the females can become a Vespiquen. I get it, the queen can only be female. But, who's to say that the males can't get an upgrade too? Worker bees can be an evolution easily. Take this design by GregAndrade on Deviantart. It is similar to the Vespiquen but clearly stands out as a separate Pokémon. This should happen. I mean, look at Combee's little faces....how can you disappoint them, Game Freak?
And there you have it, my top 10 Pokémon that don't evolve but certainly should. I hope Game Freak gives at least one of these an evolution in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Either way, I think its only a matter of time before they get the evolutions that they so desperately deserve. Until next time, blog happy everyone!!
A blog dedicated to all things that I find awesome including gaming, entertainment, jewelry, and TCG!! Enjoy :)

The Latest Revealed Pokemon for Pokemon Sun and Moon
A Pokémon Sun and Moon trailer featuring new Pokémon was released this past week. After seeing these new Pokémon, I decided that my first new post will about my thoughts on them. Please note that I do not play competitively so I will probably stick to design and abilities as opposed to IVs, EVs, and competitive possibilities. Also, I did see what other's thought about these Pokémon as a form of research but I will not let their opinions color mine in any way. Also, I will go in 'trailer' order so I can keep my thoughts organized. So without further ado, here are my thoughts on the new Pokémon that have been announced for Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Wimpod
Type: bug/water
Ability: Wimp Out - when down to less than half of its HP, it will flee/switch out of battle
I have been longing for a new bug/water type Pokémon ever since Surskit back in Generation 3. I like Wimpod's design, which appears to be based on the horseshoe crab. It's ability has the potential to be both helpful and annoying. I guess it depends upon whether you're using it or it's being used against you. I will definitely try to catch one of these when I get my copy of Pokémon Moon. My only hope is that if this Pokémon evolves, it will not lose the water typing. I feel that bug/water has a lot of potential and please, Game Freak, don't discard it in evolution (if that happens).
Bounsweet
Type: Grass
Abilities: Leaf Guard (no status ailments in sunny weather except confusion and infatuation) or Oblivious (attraction or charming moves/abilities don't work on it)
What do you get when you combine bounce and sweet? You get an adorable fruit-based Pokémon that bounces around! Now, some have called this a Cherubi clone, but I don't think so. I believe it is based on the Mangosteen fruit. Hey, when your region is based on Hawaii, why not have some Pokémon based on tropical fruit? I think it's cute. Besides, who's to say it won't evolve into something even better? As far as abilities go, it apparently will be immune to major status ailments or minor ones. As far as moves, I wonder if it will learn Leaf Blade or Giga Drain? The potential is there, like in Petilil or Oddish. You just have to look past its appearance to see it.
Comfey
Type: Fairy
Abilities: Flower Veil (ally Grass-type stats can't be lowered in double and triple battles) or Triage (healing moves get the highest priority during battle)
When you think of Hawaii, you think of flower leis or necklaces of flowers. When I first saw this Pokémon, I thought it seemed like a stupid idea to have a Pokémon that's a lei. Once I saw it in action and read its Pokedex entry, I realized that the Pokémon is the tiny green creature holding the flower necklace. It actually collects flowers, makes them into a necklace, then gives it away to someone it likes. I love this idea! Comfey is super cute and it's Triage ability is super useful. I will definitely have one on my team in Pokémon Moon.
Mudsdale
Type: Ground
Abilities: Own Tempo (cannot be confused) or Stamina (defense is raised every time it is hit in battle)
When I first saw this Pokémon in a video thumbnail, I thought 'oh no, they made another Fire-type horse. Wasn't Rapidash enough?' However, I has thrilled to learn that it is a Ground type! I like the tough look of this Pokémon. This Pokémon has the potential to be a defensive beast. Imagine staring down an 8 ft. tall, 2000 lb. horse, whose defense will climb every time you hit it with an attack due to the Stamina ability. Wow. Granted, it is weak to Water, Ice, and Grass, but still, that is impressive. Due to its appearance, I find it highly unlikely that it will evolve. Still, I know that I want to catch one of these, but I don't know if I will use it on my team.
Mimikyu
Type: Ghost/Fairy
Ability: Disguise - its outfit takes the first hit in every battle so you can take one hit without any damage
When I saw the first Ghost/Fairy type, I thought 'boy, does that look creepy.' When I saw the Pokémon in action and read its Pokedex entry, it made more sense. This poor little lonely ghost cannot stand daylight and thinks that if it looks like Pikachu, it will be loved. Aww....now I have to catch one. There has been some speculation that the disguise can be different Pokémon in addition to Pikachu but I'm not so sure about that. When Game Freak releases more info, then we will know one way or another. Mimikyu is a mystery that is still creepy, but endearing (like Litwick). I eagerly await learning more about this Pokémon as the game release date gets closer.
Bewear
Type: Normal/Fighting
Ability: Fluffy(physical damage is halved, fire-type damage is doubled) or Klutz (can't hold items)
First of all, the typing is interesting. It has been seen only in Mega Lopunny or Meloetta's Pirouette Form up to this point. I like being able to encounter this typing more easily. However, the design is....not the best. Bewear just looks...weird. From the black body and pink head to the odd ear headband thing, this Pokémon bewilders me. It's basically a big, super strong teddy bear that can either take hits while being highly flammable or cannot hold any items. The idea is solid, but the rest is just-not. I really think Game Freak dropped the ball on this one. Ursaring is a big fierce brown bear, Beartic is a big fierce polar bear, and Pangoro is a big fierce panda (I know, not actually a bear). The point is, there are so many other things that they could have done with this Pokémon. If they wanted cuddly - that could have been great...just not like this.
Anyway, thanks for reading my thoughts on these (mostly) fantastic new Pokémon. This is just my opinion, so feel free to leave yours in the comment section. I got my info from the Pokémon youtube channel, the Pokémon Sun and Moon website, and Pokémondb.net. You can check these out yourself and even find more opinions all over Google and Youtube. I hope you enjoyed this post and that you will read future posts. Until the next post, blog happy!

A Clean Slate...
Hello, everyone! I know, it has been literally years since I lasted posted. I apologize for that. I got bogged down with other things and completely forgot about my little blog. Now, I am going to try again with a clean slate (except for my candy-land post, btw). I hope you enjoy and that we can keep things going this time! I intend to only do 1 post every Sunday but today I felt that two posts were needed. Okay, then, time for the next post. Please feel free to leave me a comment on future post ideas or critiques of the blog itself. I look forward to hearing from you! Until the next post, blog happy!
