A Fun Little Thanksgiving Post...

With Thanksgiving over, I thought it would be fun to talk about five Yu-Gi-Oh cards that have to do with food. I don't mean just fruits and vegetables, either. I mean cooking and consuming food too. Here are the cards that I think deserve a look this holiday (in no particular order).

Marmiting Captain

Marmiting has to do with French cooking according to this card's yugioh-wikia page. This card has more to offer than a guy in an apron when it is normal summoned, though. For the price of shuffling a card into your deck, you can draw a card. If it is a monster, you can special summon it to the field as a bonus. It's a more complicated Marauding Captain.

Token Feastevil
Nothing is better than a feast. In this case, it's metaphorical. When a token is special summoned to the field, all tokens are destroyed and your opponent gets to 'feast' on 300 pts of damage per destroyed token.

Papa-Corn
One of the great things about food is that you get to share it with family. This card combines the two. If a field spell is on the field, Papa-Corn gets a 1000 ATK boost for as long as the field spell remains on the field.

Number 50: Blackship of Corn
Speaking of corn, how about a ship made of it? This XYZ monster has a great ability. You remove an XYZ material monster from this card and you can destroy one of your opponent's face-up monsters that has an ATK that is less than or equal to Blackship of Corn. Bonus: your opponent also takes 1000 pts of damage. However, your ship can't attack this turn but that's okay.

Token Thanksgiving
Yes, this card had to be on this list. You lose all tokens on the field. However, you get 800 LP for each token destroyed. Mmm....tasty.

And there you have it - a small yet fun post for this holiday week. I hope you enjoyed this post and if you did, please Follow me so you don't miss out on future posts. Leave a comment telling me your favorite food related cards. Have a good week, enjoy your leftovers, and as always, keep on gaming!!
